MetroAtlanta ranks 50th—last—among major U.S. cities for economic mobility. That means children born into poverty here are more likely to remain in poverty than anywhere else in the country.
But it doesn’t have to be that way.
CareerRiseexpands access to opportunities, supports skilled workers, advocates for good jobs, and strengthens communities.
We help increase economic mobility for residents and assist employers in filling the skilled labor gap in high-demand careers such as information technology (IT), construction, manufacturing, transportation and logistics, and hospitality.
